What defines a Family Driven Project

A Family Driven project is a project, developed, led, and executed by that specific family. Each Family Driven Project addresses a significant challenge in the community. Each one has a detailed project plan that includes clear and measurable objectives, a timeline and budget, and outlines the key steps required to achieve success.

What defines a Project?

Developed and led by the project ambassadors. Project ambassadors announce the project and build a team to execute the project. Each project addresses a significant challenge in the community.

At a minimum, every Family Driven Project must meet six criteria as it needs:

Specific: A project must outline a specific approach to a problem, have clear and feasible objectives to accomplish within a defined period of time, and articulate the desired outcome of the effort.
Measurable: A project must have specific quantitative goals that can be monitored by the project leader to evaluate progress over time.
Viable: A project must present a plan to secure sufficient resources to carry out the core function of the project over its full duration.
Accountable: A project must track quantitative and qualitative progress and report to show the extent of the project’s impact.
Partnerships: Each project must partner with institutional partners for their projects.
Leadership: The ambassador is the leader of the project and his/her friends and family members are the team members. Every student must initiate at least one project and become an ambassador. Every student and family member must also take a role as a team member in at least one project.
